AEZblot, designed by Anastacia E. Zittel of Adult Ramblings, is a free hand-drawn brush display font with stark, uneven letterforms. Abrupt changes in stroke width, crooked edges, and blunt ends give the lettering the look of quick marks made with an overloaded brush.
A punk gig poster is its most convincing setting. The raw shapes also suit album artwork, independent magazine covers, and rebellious clothing graphics. Their blotchy construction can echo ink splashes or rough illustrations, making the lettering part of the artwork rather than a polished caption.
