Chicagothic by Jin Hashiba of BRIDGEco is a free Japanese-inspired geometric display font built from stark, modular strokes. Tall verticals, abrupt cutaways, and detached horizontal bars give the letters a fractured, sign-like silhouette with strong changes in stroke width.
Its blocky construction echoes urban signage and architectural grids, making it apt for music posters, streetwear branding, and game graphics. On event merchandise, the broken forms can become pieces of a cityscape or electronic interface rather than neutral lettering.
