Childwood by Yuliyan Ilev is a free distressed sans serif display font with blunt, sturdy letterforms. Its uneven edges look cut, scraped, and slightly battered rather than smoothly drawn. The loose joins and changing stroke widths give the lettering a handmade, improvised quality.

Children's event posters and underground music merchandise are very different settings, but the rough block shapes suit both. They also fit toy packaging and game graphics, where an imperfect finish can echo hand-built props or painted scenery. In signage, the worn edges can turn a name into part of a weathered shopfront or makeshift wooden placard.
