Dirty by Lauren Harrison is a free trash script with tall, wiry letters and an intentionally unruly outline. Uneven stroke widths, blunt joins, and wavering curves give the writing the raw look of marker lettering copied from a battered flyer.
It can push punk gig posters toward photocopied grit, yet its loose forms also suit handmade food packaging, skate merchandise, and offbeat event graphics. These applications share a taste for lettering that doubles as rough illustration.
