Guignol's Band 字体

Guignol's Band, from Guignol's Band and Paintblack Editions, is a free distressed display font with swollen, irregular letters. Its blunt shapes look hand-cut and heavily inked, with chipped edges and scratches breaking up the strokes. Uneven widths and lopsided curves give the lettering a rowdy underground-poster feel.

Punk music and rough-edged comedy are its natural territory, making it useful for gig posters, album art, and club merchandise. Their common thread is its battered photocopied-flyer texture.
