Lobster, designed by Pablo Impallari in 2010, is a free calligraphic script with the flair of hand-painted commercial lettering. Broad, dark downstrokes narrow sharply through turns, producing lively contrast and a confidently slanted silhouette with plenty of motion. Looped capitals and curling joins give the lettering an especially theatrical sweep.
Food, music, and retro entertainment are its most convincing subjects. The generous curves suit restaurant branding, record sleeves, festival posters, and product packaging, where the lettering can function almost like an illustrated sign. Across these uses, its rolling connections and oversized flourishes provide the same upbeat, vintage showmanship throughout.
