Never Regular

Never by Matthew Welch is a free handwritten font defined by an unusually tall, needle-like rhythm. The long vertical strokes and narrow rounded loops make the lettering feel spare and slightly uneasy, more like quick marker writing pulled upward than a casual everyday script.

That stretched rhythm gives short text a clear role in poster titles, indie book covers, zine headings, album art, and Halloween flyers. It also makes sense for quote graphics and packaging where a hand-drawn note should feel raw and a little off-center, rather than friendly or polished.
