New X Digital TFB is a free segmented digital display font with the sharp geometry of LED readouts. Chamfered bars, open joins, and abrupt diagonals give the letters a mechanical silhouette that varies noticeably in width.
Circuit diagrams and control-panel graphics can echo its broken strokes in game interfaces and technology posters. Electronic music packaging also benefits from the hard-edged industrial character. Its most convincing role is as display lettering inside a fictional machine or retro-futurist console.
