Stillframes, created by Steven J. Lundeen of Emerald City Fontwerks, is a free silhouette dingbat font built from small narrative figures and outdoor motifs. Solid human forms capture varied poses and gestures, joined by flying birds and angular tower-like structures whose open latticework contrasts with the dense bodies.
It is especially suited to illustrated storyboards and posters. The mix of people, wildlife, and built structures also gives event graphics, editorial features, and adventure-themed branding a ready-made cast of symbols, so the type can shape a sequence of scenes or a compact identity for an outdoor attraction, nature center, or festival.
