Aeiou by Pia Frauss is a free medieval blackletter font with a strongly hand-cut, calligraphic profile. Broad strokes meet needle-sharp points, and sweeping curves recall decorated manuscript initials.
It suits historical games, festival posters, and folk-metal merchandise. Long hooked flourishes and compact interlocking forms make the lettering part of the ornament, echoing illustrated borders and heraldic motifs rather than acting as neutral text.
