Astral Projection, created by Alexander Kominek of FontStruct, is a free pixel display font assembled from rows of evenly spaced star-like marks instead of solid strokes. The squared letters keep a strict grid, but the repeated points give their broad, blocky shapes a sparkling, perforated texture.
Digital game graphics are its strongest setting. The star motif also suits science-fiction posters, electronic music packaging, and space-themed event graphics, where the lettering can double as a constellation pattern arranged on a rigid grid.
