Biko Bold, designed by Marco Ugolini, is a free geometric sans serif with broad, sturdy proportions and an emphatic silhouette. Its circles are clean and generously open.

Branding is its clearest role, especially for sportswear or contemporary food packaging that benefits from a confident, uncomplicated wordmark. The strong weight also suits event posters, retail signage, and magazine cover lines. Its precise geometry is especially at home in modern lifestyle and athletic design, where direct shapes matter more than decorative ornament.

Biko is also available in the Light weight. The name is a tribute to Steve Biko, a South African anti-apartheid activist.
