Birney is a free handwritten display font with broad, uneven strokes. The letters lean, swell, and pinch unpredictably, and their blunt endings and lopsided joins give the writing a rough cut-paper silhouette with plenty of forward motion.

Designers working in children's entertainment, independent music, or casual food branding can draw on that raw humor for packaging, event posters, and merchandise.
