Blunted by John of bionictype is a free distorted display font with swollen, irregular letterforms. Broad curves press against abrupt cuts and pointed joins, giving the lettering a lopsided, hand-shaped silhouette. Changing widths make every line look restless and slightly off-kilter.
Packaging is a natural setting for its soft bulk and odd angles, especially on snacks, drinks, or playful novelty products. The unruly shapes also suit music posters and game graphics with a surreal or comic streak. Its clearest role is a mischievous title on novelty packaging.
