Cat Scratch Fever is a free angular comic display font. The capitals swing between broad slabs and thin splinters, with skewed joins, abrupt cutouts, and uneven proportions creating a deliberately unstable silhouette.

It is especially convincing on gig posters and album artwork, where the fractured shapes echo noisy guitars and handmade venue graphics. Underground magazine covers and skate merchandise can turn the same unruly lettering into part of their illustration, as can irreverent event branding.
