ChronicGothic by Max Infeld of Xerorapher Type Foundry is a free decorative display font packed with jagged, plant-like cutouts. Tangled shards break across broad, otherwise solid capitals.
The thorny interior pattern can echo overgrown illustrations in horror posters and album packaging. It also suits skate merchandise and dark event graphics, where the fractured texture becomes part of the artwork. In editorial design, it can turn a magazine masthead or feature opener into an image of controlled visual noise.
