CODON by Tom Murphy 7 of Divide By Zero is a free cartoon display font built from squat, swollen letterforms. Its uneven curves and changing stroke widths give the capitals a hand-cut, rubbery silhouette. Small cutout-like openings puncture the dark shapes.
It can turn a game title or children's book cover into part of the illustration, and also suits toy packaging. Those holes resemble punched bubbles, a motif that links the lettering with monsters, science themes, or comic artwork.
