Comonsexbold by Masato Shimojima of Creation is a free retro display font with broad, inky letters and lively old-school curves. Thick upright strokes taper into fine feet, and rounded knobs give the lettering a hand-drawn, slightly mischievous silhouette.
Vintage comedy, fairground graphics, and upbeat music are fitting subjects for posters, food packaging, and merchandise using this face. Its bulbous shapes can echo cartoon figures or painted sign details, letting the lettering take an active part in the illustration.
