Crash Numbering Serif by Philip Krayna of Psy/Ops SF is a free mechanical numbering font with condensed figures and slab serifs. Uneven vertical positions recall an old ticket machine.
Designers handling archival or industrial subjects will find it especially apt. Raffle tickets, claim checks, invoices, and numbered certificates benefit from figures that appear printed by a physical counter rather than typeset.
