Dancing Men by cwethanp of FontStruct is a free stick-figure dingbat font built from simplified human poses. Circular heads, straight bodies, and sharply angled arms and legs give the symbols the brisk look of coded gestures or tiny semaphore figures.
Games are an especially good medium for these figures, since each pose can read as a clue, character marker, or part of a secret alphabet. They also suit puzzle books, mystery-event graphics, and playful merchandise. The repeated round heads and jointed limbs let the font become part of an illustrated cipher rather than ordinary lettering.
