Davys Plain by D. Rakowski of DavysKeyCaps is a free keyboard keycap dingbat font with rounded rectangular frames and plain command labels. Double outlines give each symbol the molded shape of a computer key.
Instruction manuals are a convincing use, since the symbols turn shortcut explanations into compact visual cues. They also suit software tutorials, interface diagrams, and technology posters with an early desktop flavor.
