Do It Yourself by Paintblack is a free cartoon display font with broad, dark letters, lopsided proportions, tight, restless spacing, and a deliberately uneven cut-paper silhouette. Each softened, crooked contour looks individually shaped.
A children's event poster is its strongest setting, since the oversized forms resemble handmade signs and bring a mischievous, informal voice to simple announcements and comic scenes. Toy packaging, comedy merchandise, and game graphics also fit the same rough-edged style, with letter shapes that can echo torn-paper creatures, chunky stickers, or loose collage illustrations, so the lettering becomes part of the picture rather than plain neutral type.
