Dragonbones, designed by Nate Piekos, is a free hand-drawn horror display font with warped, uneven capitals. Its strokes swell and taper abruptly, giving the letters a cutout quality and a restless silhouette. The rough curves feel deliberately unstable.
Children's monster books and punk merchandise draw on its mix of cartoon exaggeration and menace. The jagged forms also suit Halloween posters and novelty treat packaging. Across these uses, the lettering feels like a hand-drawn part of the artwork.
