DS Kork by Dubina Nikolay of Moscow's D-Studio is a free Gothic display font with a severe medieval profile. Its tall, compact capitals combine strong vertical strokes with pinched joins and blade-like points. Repeated diamond-shaped notches give the lettering a carved, heraldic edge.
Metal, fantasy, and dark fashion audiences are a natural match for album covers and apparel graphics. The spiked silhouette also lets event posters and game artwork borrow the look of a heraldic crest. It is most convincing in titles needing the force of a blackletter inscription.
