DS Rabbit, created by D. Rakowski and Nikolay Dubina, is a free groovy display font with squat, bulbous letterforms and a distinctly 1970s silhouette. Broad curves meet abrupt corners, giving the lettering a cut-paper bluntness. Tall strokes rise above the low, rounded forms, which makes the overall profile lively and uneven.
Packaging is a good medium for its dense shapes, particularly on candy, snacks, or drink labels. The same rounded mass suits music posters, children's publishing, and merchandise, where it can echo simple cartoon figures or bold flat illustrations.
