Edamame Western by Goma Shin is a free Western display font with the oversized slab serifs and dense weight of old saloon lettering. Its rounded ends soften the otherwise imposing shapes. Narrow inner spaces and tightly packed strokes give the capitals a dark poster texture.
For frontier-themed packaging and event posters, the hefty silhouette suggests stamped signs and showbill type, while music merchandise gains a loud vintage edge. It is best as a title in a Western-themed design.
