Excelsior Comics Condensed, created by Iconian Fonts in 2013, is a free condensed comic display font with towering, soft-edged letters and a dense, tightly packed, dark silhouette. Uneven tops and pinched inner spaces keep the lettering lively.

Comic-book covers are its clearest home, especially for loud title lettering that needs the immediacy of hand-drawn sound-effect graphics and superhero mastheads.
