Father Nelson by K. Whetstone of Centric Studios is a free outlined handwritten display font with an easy, doodled manner. Its tall, uneven letters are built from loose double contours and softly rounded curves. Small shifts in stroke width keep the forms lively and plainly hand drawn.
Its sketchbook quality suits children's packaging and cafe branding, yet also gives event posters a light comic note. In publishing, the pen-traced forms fit activity book covers and playful magazine titles.
