FD Carimboh by Felipe Dario is a free eroded serif display font with the battered surface of an old woodblock print. Its broad capitals look sturdy and forceful.
Vintage print is its clearest territory, especially for posters and historical publishing where uneven edges can echo worn paper and hand-inked illustrations. Music merchandise and rustic food packaging also suit the dark, broken texture. It is most convincing when lettering itself needs to resemble a weathered printed artifact.
