FDJ Borges by Felipe Dario is a free hand-drawn dingbat font built around strange, storybook-like imagery. The visible artwork combines a watchful human face, sharp rays, and an animal body rendered in rough black strokes. It feels deliberately raw and folkloric.
Folk-art and outsider illustration are the clearest references, making it suited to experimental music posters, book covers, and independent magazine features with an occult or mythic bent. On merchandise or event graphics, the scratchy linework can function as an illustrated emblem rather than ordinary lettering for small-run bands and arts events. Its most convincing role is in publishing that welcomes surreal creatures and handmade imagery.
