Freaking Strange by Skyhaven is a free scary cartoon display font with hulking slab-like letters and an unruly, rough-cut silhouette. Its uneven widths, crooked edges, and abrupt angles make the lettering look clumsy in a deliberate, theatrical way.
Posters and game graphics gain a loud comic menace from those distorted proportions, with the same look fitting novelty packaging and band merchandise. The exaggerated shapes suit haunted-house comedy, children's monster stories, and campy horror rather than realistic gore.
