Futurex Grunge by Graham Meade of Apostrophic Laboratories is a free futuristic display font built from stark, irregular strokes. Broad curves, sharp wedges, and abrupt cutoffs form a distinctly rough, improvised silhouette.

Album artwork and science-fiction game graphics both suit its mix of space-age geometry and handmade distortion. It also has the bite needed for skate merchandise and underground event posters. The lettering can become a jagged emblem or illustrated machine part.
