HFF Air Apparent by Have Fun with Fonts is a free whimsical serif display font with tall, irregular letters and lively changes in stroke width. Its sharp, oversized serifs and shifting angles give the lettering the cut-paper swagger of an old theatrical bill.

Vintage entertainment is its clearest territory, especially for circus posters, comedy branding, and festival merchandise. On book covers, the exaggerated silhouettes can become part of the illustration, turning a title into a row of animated figures.

HFF Air Apparent is based on Prince from "Brushstroke and Free-style Alphabets: 100 Complete Fonts" by Dan X. Solo, first published by Dover Publications in 1977. Prince is also seen on page 92 of "The Solotype Catalog of 4,147 Display Typefaces".
