King Xmas by Harold Lohner of Harold's Fonts is a free ornamental display font with swelling strokes and extravagant curled flourishes. Its letterforms mix broad, rounded masses with sharp points, coiled interiors, and long hooks that give the line a fanciful storybook air.
Holiday invitations are its clearest setting, especially for celebrations with a playful, old-fashioned theme. The same theatrical shapes suit gift packaging and children's publishing. On posters, the repeated curls can echo ribbons, candy swirls, or vines.
