KRIPTON A by Gerzan Borge of Triton Company is a free eroded display font with an imposing industrial build. Its broad, solid letters are hacked by sharp gaps, ragged edges, and scattered flecks. The damage varies from character to character, giving the line a rough screen-printed quality.
It can turn lettering into the main texture of a concert poster or album cover. Skate merchandise and action-game graphics also suit its forceful shapes and splintered surface. The worn, abrasive treatment connects these uses to punk, metal, and underground sports culture.
