LMMonoLt10-Oblique by B. Jackowski and J. M. Nowacki for TeX user groups is a free light oblique monospaced serif font. Its slim, evenly paced letters lean gently forward, with restrained stroke contrast and small, crisp serifs.

In publishing, technical books and research journals gain a precise texture from the evenly measured, forward-slanting letterforms. Software documentation and academic posters can use the slant to distinguish secondary information from the main text. It is most convincing in technical editorial work that benefits from the familiar order of monospaced lettering.
