Mahawa

Mahawa by Cosmic Cosmos is a free bitmap font defined by tall rectangular strokes and square cutouts that make each letter read like a compact tile. That strict pixel grid gives the design a blunt, low-resolution rhythm, with open spaces punched out cleanly instead of softened into curves.

The font makes sense for game menus, arcade-style titles, pixel art posters, app splash screens, and tech event graphics where that blocky grid feels native rather than nostalgic for its own sake. Short labels and headers also benefit from the stacked, modular shapes, which keep the lettering graphic and direct even in very brief words.
