Massive Dynamite by Imagex is a free eroded Western display font with broad slab serifs and an imposing, tightly packed silhouette. Scattered chips and scratches give the letters a battered print texture reminiscent of weathered saloon signs and old wanted posters.
Packaging can use that frontier character for barbecue sauces, craft drinks, and rugged outdoor goods. It is especially convincing on event posters, where the oversized forms and distressed surface can set the theme before any supporting imagery appears.
