MCF Funera Flourish by Andrey Chernevich of Mister Chek is a free gothic calligraphy font built from sweeping, blade-like strokes. Its uneven letters mix dense masses with hairline curls and thorny flourishes.
It can turn a theatrical title into part lettering and part ornament, especially for horror posters and fantasy games. Album art and occult merchandise also suit its tangled, hand-drawn forms. It speaks most directly to audiences drawn to gothic music, dark fantasy, and macabre illustration.
