Mentone SemiBold by Jan Schmoeger of Paragraph is a free humanist sans serif with sturdy, clean-cut forms. Its broad curves and lightly varied strokes give the lettering a firm, modern silhouette. Rounded shapes keep the design approachable and direct.
For magazine covers and cultural posters, its simple geometry can repeat the blocks and circles of flat illustration. The same sturdy forms fit brand identities and signage, where round bowls and square-cut endings can be echoed in icons and patterns.
