Neuton Extrabold 字体

Neuton Extrabold by Brian M Zick is a free heavy serif font with broad, forceful shapes and sharply cut details. Its substantial strokes are punctuated by small wedge-like serifs, tight joins, and abrupt changes in width. Several letters have an almost carved, poster-print quality.

Poster design is its clearest setting, where the dense silhouettes can supply the blunt impact and familiar warmth of wood-type lettering without copying a historical face. That same robust voice fits event graphics, food packaging, and music merchandise, and it can give magazine covers and section openers a compact editorial signature for culture and arts publishing.

The family is in continuing development and will include:

- Five weights, from Extralight to Extrabold
- Italic and smallcaps versions
- A cursive variant
- Extended-width versions

The family will comprise regular, italic, and cursive styles, each in five weights and with smallcaps. Two italic styles will be included: “italic” and “cursive.”
