New York Statement by Aali Sahay is a free graffiti display font with blunt, uneven letters and raw cut-paper edges. Broken contours and abrupt widths create a pasted, scraped look.
Street culture and underground music are clear settings for its rough construction, especially on gig posters, skate merchandise, and record packaging. In editorial design, it can turn a magazine cover line into part of the artwork, echoing torn collage, photocopied textures, and hand-cut graphics.
