NovelloPro Bold by Ingo Zimmermann of ingoFonts is a free high-contrast display serif with broad, commanding letterforms. Thick rounded strokes shift sharply into fine hairlines, and the flat serifs give the lettering a crisp, formal finish.

Novello Pro is a Roman typeface with round serifs. Its design removes unnecessary traditional weight.

The typeface uses alternating thick and thin strokes. Its short, round serifs attach to the letter bodies at right angles. The thin strokes are horizontal, and the joins in a, b, d, h, n, m, p, q, r, and u form right angles rather than rounded upstrokes.
