Pensmooth

Pensmooth is a free eroded calligraphic display font from Greg Meronek and Gavin Kalinthianalionalia, with letters that feel brushed into shape and then lightly worn back. The sweeping serif forms and soft bite marks along the edges give it a printed, literary mood rather than a hard digital one.

It works well for book covers, poetry titles, cafe menus, poster headlines, and packaging that wants a cultured, slightly weathered voice. As a free font, it also suits short title cards, initials, and drop-cap moments, because the strokes have enough movement to carry a line even when only a few letters are used.
