Platoon is a free decorative caps font with massive, tightly packed forms and an uneven cut-paper edge. Some letters appear solid and others hollow, with blunt corners, sliced contours, and rough offset shadows that make the alphabet look assembled from mismatched poster type.

It suits an irreverent youth market. Skate gear, music posters, and streetwear branding use its solid-and-outline mix to recall photocopied graphics and handmade placards. In event artwork, the lettering can become part of a torn-paper collage or a hand-cut sign rather than neutral text.
