ProtoSans00 by Roman Gornitsky is a free techno display font built from rigid, monoline geometry. Its letters resemble modular frames, with rounded forms reduced to right angles and narrow breaks interrupting several strokes. The construction is stark and mechanical.
Technology and early digital culture are its clearest territory, making it apt for game graphics and electronic music posters. Packaging for hardware or experimental fashion could use the same stripped-back forms to suggest prototypes, circuitry, or machine labels. In event branding, the recurring gaps and squared enclosures can become part of a circuit-board or interface motif.
