Punchline, designed by Tobias Sommer of FSI FontShop International GmbH, is a free blocky slab serif display font. Its broad caps use rectangular strokes, sharp cut-ins, and compact slab feet. Angled joins give the lettering a tough, mechanical edge.
Sports and gaming audiences will recognize its badge-like construction. It suits team merchandise, event posters, and arcade graphics, where the squared forms can echo uniforms, scoreboards, and industrial scenery. It is especially convincing for younger audiences drawn to competitive graphics.
