QUBE WIDE by Dan Redding of B/W Fontworks is a free wide pixel display font built from thin right-angled strokes and square interruptions. Its forms are spare and sharply mechanical.
Digital graphics gain an electronic display quality from the open construction, especially in game interfaces. The broken grid also suits electronic music posters and technology packaging, where clipped shapes can echo circuit diagrams or screen icons. For software branding, the lettering can become a compact emblem built into a device or gaming label.
