Reta Caps by Ouripedes Gallene is a free medieval initials font built from sharply drawn, ornamental capitals. Broad strokes meet fine outlines, pointed joins, and small engraved flourishes. Each letter has the air of a hand-cut emblem.
Medieval and fantasy themes make it a convincing choice for historical publishing, game packaging, and event posters. On merchandise, the decorated capitals can function as illustrated crests, with internal patterns supplying imagery as well as lettering.
