RM Narrowboat by Ray Meadows of FontStruct is a free outlined slab serif display font with the square, commanding build of old-school collegiate lettering. Broad strokes, blocky slab serifs, and tight interior lines create a layered sign-painted effect. The capitals look sturdy and formal.
A school team, sports club, or heritage-minded venue could use it to shape a recognizable identity. Its athletic structure also suits event posters, merchandise, and campus publications, especially when the design calls for a traditional varsity reference. The repeated inner outline gives those applications the look of stitched jersey lettering and vintage scoreboard graphics.
